Baggage and dangerous items


New Security Regulations for Hand Luggage – Travelling in the EU Countries

- Direct flight (non-stop)

Travelling from outside EU directly to your destination in the EU or in Non-EU countries (except: United States, Canada):

You can still take any perfume, liquor, or any other comparable liquids or gels from the Duty Free Shop aboard an aircraft.

- Connecting flight

Do you have a flight connecting in:

· the European Union, Switzerland, Iceland or Norway

· the United States or Canada

You can still take any tobacco, sweets, accessoires and textiles from Duty Free Shop aboard an aircraft.

 

Carry-on Luggage Restrictions
In addition with checked luggage, passengers may take only one piece of hand luggage suitable for placing in the closed overhead rack or under the passenger seat provided that maximum dimensions of such hand luggage do not exceed limits defined by your airline. For further information please check your flight ticket.


Due to new security restrictions, liquids will be permitted in hand luggage for your connecting flight only if carried in containers with a maximum capacity of 100ml. All liquid containers must be carried in a one litre-sized transparent, re-sealable plastic bag which you can get at the duty free shop.

Liquid items (perfumes/cosmetics, drinks) bought from duty-free stores which exceed 100ml will NOT be permitted in your hand luggage when you connect to a flight leaving an airport in the EU, US, Canada, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland.

Limitations for Checked Luggage
An adult passenger or a child paying a discounted fare is entitled to the following free luggage allowance:


International flights:
Business Class 30 KGs (66 LB)
Economy Class 20 KGs (44 LB)

Domestic flights:
Business Class 20 KGs (44 LB)
Economy Class 15 KGs (33 LB)

On flights to USA, Canada and South America:
Please contact Customer Relations Office of the airline you are planning your flight with.

Additional Items
Your requests for any excess baggage please submit through your airline reservation system. The request will be confirmed according to airline limitations and availability. Additional baggage is charged according to airline tariff rules.

Forbidden Items
It is forbidden by law to carry any dangerous items both in the checked and hand baggage. Such items include: explosives, flammable liquids, radioactive materials and poisons, loaded firearms, pressurized gases and other articles such as anti-corrosive and anti-oxidizing products.


The airline will supply information on conditions for carrying arms and ammunition on the passenger's request, as well as a complete list of forbidden articles.
